Paul Holland Joins Solomon Coyle Dealer Development Consulting Team

ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 9, 2012 — Paul Holland, a dealer development specialist with more than 25 years of office furniture industry experience, has joined Solomon Coyle LLC as a Principal Consultant. The Solomon Coyle consulting team, led by David Solomon, specializes in helping office furniture dealers achieve significant improvements in efficiency, performance, and profitability.

With a strong background that includes leadership roles with both a major office furniture manufacturer and a $15 million dealership, Holland specializes in Sales and Marketing, Financial Management, Market Share Growth, Operations Management, Strategic Planning, and Leadership Development.

Holland is a key member of Solomon Coyle’s consulting team. He will be involved in the firm’s Dealer Development Program, lead educational sessions, and facilitate Solomon Coyle’s aligned dealer peer groups. He will also contribute to the continued development of Solomon Coyle’s dealer training programs, financial tools, and research and analysis.

Prior to joining Solomon Coyle, Holland was with Haworth, Inc. for six years, most recently as Manager of Dealer Development for North America. Holland served as a key leader to cross-functional teams and was responsible for driving channel innovation and lean methodology. He played a leading role in executing Haworth’s North American distribution strategies, and was responsible for developing programs, strategies, and processes to generate significant improvements in profit and market share growth for Haworth dealers.

Previously, Holland served as a Haworth Senior Dealer Business Consultant, providing business consulting, mentoring and channel administration for more than 100 dealers. He was responsible for sales planning, market assessment, and financial analysis, and facilitated various dealer successions and buyouts. Holland also spearheaded development of consulting tools, training, and educational resources for dealers including a best practices web site.

Before moving to Haworth, Holland had a 20-year career at Innerplan Office Interiors, a $15 million Haworth dealer based in Little Rock, AR. During his tenure, he was promoted to progressive management positions, from Sales Manager to Vice President to President. Holland served as President for seven years, during which time he generated significant improvement in revenue and profits, gained Haworth Preferred Dealer status, and was recognized as Arkansas Business of the Year.
